I guess you could say Satchel and I have weddings in our blood. My sister and brother-in-law founded Wedflix, a wedding videography company, Satchel has DJ’d weddings for the last three years, and my in-laws have a small wedding venue, Stony Oak Farm, that’s plucked right out of a storybook.
And as for me, for the last six years I’ve worked as an associate wedding videographer and photographer. And now, Satchel and I own and operate Wedflix.
The 200 plus weddings I have been blessed to be a part of, have taught me something I never could have learned elsewhere… Capturing amazing videos or photos of your memories is only a small part of making your day the absolute best.
The best wedding vendors are the ones who intimately know the details of the day. They’re the ones who show up and deliver more than expected, who can keep mom calm, who have an extra safety pin for the tear, a bandaid for the oops, … the ones who work well with other vendors … and make you laugh when you feel like crying.
